Located in the heart of town, you’re just a short stroll to Grand Lake’s charming shops, restaurants, parks, and the historic theater. But the real gem? A private dock just steps from your back door — perfect for launching your kayak, paddleboard, or boat, or simply savoring quiet moments by the water.

Inside, the home welcomes you with an expansive Great Room featuring panoramic lake and mountain views from nearly every window. Sink into plush seating by the cozy gas fireplace or gather in the chef’s kitchen and adjoining dining area — ideal for shared meals and late-night board games.

After a day of exploring Rocky Mountain National Park or the surrounding trails, unwind on the spacious covered deck with Mount Craig (affectionately known as Mount Baldy) as your backdrop. The large yard and wood-burning fire pit invite you to spend your evenings lakeside, sharing stories under the stars.

With room for the whole crew, this home offers three private bedrooms — two with queen beds and a third with two sets of extra-long twin bunks — perfect for taller guests. A private den with a sleeper sofa and TV, plus a cozy loft with additional sleeping space and another TV, means everyone has their own spot to relax.

This home is best suited for peaceful mountain escapes. The oversized driveway provides plenty of space for parking and outdoor toys.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made prior to 30 days of your arrival date for stays of 6 nights or less will incur a $50 cancellation fee and forfeit the non-refundable booking fee. Cancellations of reservations of 7 nights or more, prior to 30 days before your arrival date incur a $200 cancellation fee and forfeit the non-refundable booking fee. For cancellations within 30 days of arrival date the entire amount is non-refundable for all reservations.

Winter Arrival:
Please be prepared before beginning your drive to the mountains! Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles are highly recommended. Although the main roads are usually plowed well, many residential areas require traversing steep hills on dirt roads that are not as maintained. Keep in mind that chain and traction laws for non-commercial vehicles can be put into effect at any time. We do not advise driving Berthoud Pass in a front-wheel drive vehicle unless you a comfortable putting chains on yourself. Weather and driving conditions may change rapidly. We will not accommodate refund related to weather or road conditions, please plan accordingly.

Our family definitely had an unforgettable Christmas! This home had an exceptional location and amazing views of the frozen lake and beautiful snow days! We got to experience ice fishing for the first time thanks to a local resident, we drove through the stunning Rocky Mountain National Park, and our kids loved playing with the snow in the spacious house backyard. This is our second time renting with Grand Mountain Rentals and their homes are truly the best! (Specially this one!). This 2023 Holiday Season will forever stay in our memories, and we plan to come back again all the way from South Texas to this beautiful Grand Lake, CO Home!

This is our second time to spend several days with good friends in this wonderful home. We love everything about it, having the dock right there for our boat, the easy walk to Grand Lake, and evening walks every day to Point Park and surrounding areas. The view any time of day of the lake and mountains is spectacular from the porch. The home is comfortable, and we love the kitchen, which has everything we need to cook great meals. We'll be back again. What a great place to stay in Grand Lake!

This was our family's first time renting this property in Grand Lake, even though our families have vacationed in Grand Lake for many years. Grand Lake, Shadow Mountain, Lake Granby are all great lakes to do any type of water activity, boating, jet skiing, paddle boarding, wake boarding, tubing, fishing etc.& our families do it all. We enjoy fine dining at The Rapids Restaurant, by the river, or grabbing a great burger at Miyauchi's Snack Bar, down by the pier, or having a picnic at the picnic tables at the pavilion, then going for an in ice cream treat at Grand Lake Chocolates on the boardwalk afterwards. Our kids & their parents love to go to Rocky Hi Speedway to compete with each other in go cart racing, which we do every year, as well as golf at the many available courses. This year it was the Grand Lake Golf course. Then there is always shopping from Bob Scott's Authentic Indian Jewelry, to Never Summer Mountain Products, to Humphrey's Cabin Fever & many more, we cover them all. We have photographers in the family & the wildlife is always on display, constantly reminding us that this is their home & we are just visitors, but we always bring home some great pictures, along with great memories had by all!

The cabin was better than I imagined. It had a real “home” feeling (in a good way) instead of a “rental” feeling. Kitchen had ever tool and gadget you could imagine. You can’t tell in the photos, but the location is fabulous. Just a 5 minute walk to town. Lake is serene and for me the best part was sitting outside having my morning coffee looking at the lake and listening to the sounds of nature.

Two senior couples enjoyed 4 nights in this wonderful home within walking distance of downtown Grand Lake. Having our boat at the dock added to the experience. We enjoyed reading about the history of the home and the family who owns it. There are many places to walk and we saw several moose and other wildlife. We will be back!

This home is a 5 star property! It was the nicest and cleanest home we've ever stayed in. The layout of the home was extremely comfortable for our party of 8. The kitchen was very well stocked and allowed us to cook many of our meals at the house and enjoy the breathtaking views of Grand Lake and Mount Craig. They even provided a slow cooker! It is a very short walk into town or down to Point Park where we encountered moose daily. I like the fact that there was a washer & dryer available. Sadly, we didn't get to use the fire pit due to the burn ban, but enjoyed the dock everyday. We will definitely be renting this property again!!
