What is Grand Lake all about?
Grand Lake, also known as the the "Soul of the Rockies" and offers a full range of year round activities for visitors of all ages to enjoy during your vacation! We are home to the largest natural lake in Colorado and are also within minutes of two large resourvoirs, Shadow Mountain Lake and Lake Granby, both are perfect for activies year round. Grand Lake used to be considered much more of a seasonal town, bustling with thousands every day in the summer months but winters and off season months are also a beautiful time of year. Today, it is considered the snow mobile capital of the nation, garnering visitors from far and wide once the snow begins to fall. We are the western entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park with hundreds of miles of trails, wildlife and and gorgeous open spaces to explore. No time is a bad time to visit!
