*This cabin is located in the town of Grand Lake Not Estes Park*

Quaint and cozy 3 bedroom/2 bath cabin with a loft and a natural rock wood burning fireplace to relax by. Upon entry into the home, you will find a cozy sitting area and large wood burning fireplace. Perfect for cuddling up with a book and enjoying the crackling fire. Off of the sitting area is a large open kitchen for preparing family meals after a long day on the lake or a comfy winter night in. From the kitchen you will find a large dining table with beautiful views of the surrounding forest and the back porch area perfect for wildlife viewing! A bright, full-size washer and dryer room are also on the main level along with another half bath for your convenience. There is one private bedroom on the main floor, that offers a queen bed. Just outside this bedroom is a full bathroom with tub/shower combo. Up the stairs, you will find an additional queen bed in the open loft with a lovely living area and TV overlooking the living space below, great for kids and young adults! The second private bedroom is also located on this floor and is complete with a queen bed. Easy access from main road with a large and accommodating driveway for sled and/or boat trailers!

- The WiFi at Hillside Hideaway is satellite provided (HugesNet) and is not ideal for remote working, gaming or downloading movies.
- Both bathrooms are located on the main level and there is no bathroom upstairs

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made prior to 30 days of your arrival date for stays of 6 nights or less will incur a $50 cancellation fee and forfeit the non-refundable booking fee. Cancellations of reservations of 7 nights or more, prior to 30 days before your arrival date incur a $200 cancellation fee and forfeit the non-refundable booking fee. For cancellations within 30 days of arrival date the entire amount is non-refundable for all reservations.

Winter Arrival:
Please be prepared before beginning your drive to the mountains! Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles are highly recommended. Although the main roads are usually plowed well, many residential areas require traversing steep hills on dirt roads that are not as maintained. Keep in mind that chain and traction laws for non-commercial vehicles can be put into effect at any time. We do not advise driving Berthoud Pass in a front-wheel drive vehicle unless you a comfortable putting chains on yourself. Weather and driving conditions may change rapidly. We will not accommodate refund related to weather or road conditions, please plan accordingly.

This is a well equipped 2 bedroom + loft home just minutes from downtown Grand Lake Colorado. Although the layout is a little different we were very happy with the home. A front deck and a back deck for fresh air. Deer walking by at various times. Beds and bath were adequate. Kitchen was well supplied. Only 2 complaints. The neighbors were loud on the first day with nailing until 630 pm. And partying til late night another. The dryer needs repair as it squeaks. Agent was courteous !!! 9 out of 10!!!!

Older home that has plenty of room for several people. Not having a bathroom upstairs is inconvenient and having the only TV upstairs is awkward. However, minor maintenance inside could be improved and outside of home could use some trimming of grasses and weeds.

Unfortunately as rental managers, there is much we can do about the lay out of the home not having a bathroom upstairs and pictures should have indicated that there was no TV downstairs. House was roomy. Great location. Easy to find. Quiet. Take with you everything you are going to need. There was a washer and dryer but not laundry products. There was no salt in the cupboard. No hair dryer. Enjoyed the place but next time I would bring more basic supplies.

Considering that each person has different preferences in laundry detergent; as well as the possibility that other renters may have skin sensitivities, laundry detergent is not an amenity that we provide at any of our homes. We do not advertise a hair dryer or basic spices such as salt for this home, as they are not provided by the homeowner. This was a Christmas vacation for my husband, sister-in-law, brother-in-law and myself. We all 4 had a wonderful time. It was our first white Christmas. The cabin was amazing and cozy. The view was breath taking. We definitely look forward to coming back.

The beds were the nicest thing in the house. Thank you for that. Not impressed with 2 tiny little bars of soap and the 2 little bottles of shampoo. For 6 people. Cheap uncomfortable furniture. Kitchen amenities could be improved on. The girls that checked us in were great!

Our family loved staying here at this spacious cabin. The kitchen was huge and had everything we needed. The location was secluded with lots of wildlife around.

We were looking for a roomy place that stayed within our budget. Hillside was perfect for our needs. Great space around the house and kitchen/dining was awesome for our family, we even played a few games at the table. Our last night we saw a moose which was the highlight our trip!
