A great home perfect for a family vacationing and looking to soak up sunshine and small town fun right by the water! This house offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Bottom floor hosts 2 queen bedrooms and a separate full bathroom. Large master suite upstairs with on suite master bathroom! Gorgeous new interior updates with a beautifully remodeled kitchen and bathrooms. Beautiful hardwood floors with radiant floor heat and a cozy gas fireplace create a comforting feeling for those days needed to be spent inside. Updated kitchen with everything you need to cook up a family meal to enjoy around the table and bar area! You'll enjoy super easy lake access just a paddle away, right outside your back door via the small channel the home is directly located on. Gorgeous lake views and fun are sure to be enjoyed for everyone! Be sure to bring your paddle boards and kayaks and take advantage of lakeside living. Plenty of parking for trailers and snowmobiles in the winter!

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made prior to 30 days of your arrival date for stays of 6 nights or less will incur a $50 cancellation fee and forfeit the non-refundable booking fee. Cancellations of reservations of 7 nights or more, prior to 30 days before your arrival date incur a $200 cancellation fee and forfeit the non-refundable booking fee. For cancellations within 30 days of arrival date the entire amount is non-refundable for all reservations.

Winter Arrival:
Please be prepared before beginning your drive to the mountains! Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles are highly recommended. Although the main roads are usually plowed well, many residential areas require traversing steep hills on dirt roads that are not as maintained. Keep in mind that chain and traction laws for non-commercial vehicles can be put into effect at any time. We do not advise driving Berthoud Pass in a front-wheel drive vehicle unless you a comfortable putting chains on yourself. Weather and driving conditions may change rapidly. We will not accommodate refunds related to weather or road conditions, please plan accordingly.

This is a great place to stay. Very nice location! Being right on the little cove was fun but you don’t really have actual views of Shadow Mountain Lake from the backyard.

The house was recently updated and as clean as could be! We loved our time there and plan to return.The best part of it was the location...on the waterway leading to a marina and the lake.

We went up with some friends and had the best weekend. The view was amazing, very relaxing we all didn't want to leave. The house was clean but kitchen not stocked very well but we got around anything that was missing. I would love to go back soon. I would recommend this home for a relaxing visit to Grand Lake

A very enjoyable visit to Grand Lake, Co when the season was winding down. The weather was beautiful & so was the water. The house does not look like the photos would convey, it is smaller and the angles of photography are clever. That said, I would stay there again. All the accommodations were nice and access to the water was 20 feet away. The direct view was across the channel at the small housing development but look to your left and the world opened up to spectacular lake views. A couple small things were irksome, The windows needed to be washed and the screen on the back of the house was useless/ripped out. I felt like for the money, these are things that should have been addressed.

We absolutely adored our stay here! 2 nights into our 5 night stay we tried to extend our trip and book for next year :) Yes the stairs into the canal are precarious and we would love a king bed in the master suite but these are all details. Overall, if you want a log cabin vibe where you can put into the lake with your SUP right from your backyard, this is it. Our little family was so happy here! Thank you!!

This house fit our family of 5 perfectly. We loved waking up and looking out on the canal and Shadow Lake each morning. The house was well stocked and comfortable. We have 2 teen daughters and a 10 year old son. Our thought was that the girls would share a bed but in the end one of our daughters made the oversized couch her bed and it worked great. We loved walking into town for dinner at night and for coffee and breakfast at the bakery. We stopped at a Walmart in our way into town to get supplies. I wish we had been to the house 1st because they had plenty of coffee filter, laundry detergent and paper towels. Now they have even more. We loved staying on the quieter side of RMNP! Saw lots of wildlife when we would grab an ice cream and do evening drives into the park. The only tiny complaint I have is that the house did smell very musty and took a couple days to really air out. I’m sensitive to smells so that was something that probably wouldn’t bother most.

House was cute and small, we are 2 parents and 4 kids. Living space was small but on canal and on river. Super cute. The house could really use a good clean though.

Hi Rudy, when we spoke with you upon check-out you only mentioned that you saw a few cobwebs which is a constant battle for us here in the rural Rockies. It certainly does not classify the home as unclean by any means. This home is also not located on the river, but on a small canal that links directly to beautiful Shadow Mountain Lake which can also be seen from the home.

Had a great time, would like to suggest a few things for a more comfy stay for the next person. 1. Screen was missing in one of the windows, would have loved to be able to open the window for the mountain breeze. 2. We bought a fan to help with air circulation. Would definitely recommend bringing a fan with you. 3. Please consider fixing the stairway going down to the water. We were kayaking and paddle boarding, it was difficult getting in and out of the water. The house is in a great location, close to the main drag and a lovely view of the water.

Hi Mindy, thank you for your suggestions. We do have fans available upon request for all of our guests at our office, we would have been more than happy to provide one during your stay. We were not aware of the one missing window screen but we are hopeful that with screens on the majority of the windows you were able to get a cross breeze. Without knowing what kind of repair to the stairs your'e referring to it's difficult to give the owners feedback. With our mostly rocky shoreline here, lake access is not often sandy beaches and can require an extra bit of energy for those that aren't used to Rocky Mountain lakes. We hope you come back to Grand Lake again!

Stayed there with 6 people total. Roomy enough and quiet are. Good location close to town right near lake. If you are not in great shape or have injuries then would be tough to get a kayak or paddle board in water behind house. Most all things you need to cook with are available. Since there is no AC does get warm on upstairs bedroom, would recommend a window fan to cool it off. Would stay there again.

We enjoyed the location of this property, close to town and convent to many points of interest. We took elderly parents and they loved sitting out in the red chairs enjoying all of nature’s creatures. Such a quiet and peaceful enjoyable rental.

Our family of 5 loved this home! Proximity to town and the view and easy access of the lake can’t be beat. We were there in the off season but still enjoyed several mornings on the lake with our canoes (bundled up of course) and walks into town our kids. We enjoyed dinner and Sagebrush and cooking in the beautiful kitchen at home.The ladies at Grand Mountain were a joy to work with and suggested a wonderful hike for us well. Thank you for the lovely experience, we will certainly be back!

We loved everything about this home and the proximity to the water. It was perfect to walk right out the backdoor and throw our kayaks in the water. Peaceful area walking to distance to town for us. The beds were comfy and the home was extremely clean. We will definitely be back. Management staff was also very helpful and friendly. Thank you for a beautiful vacation!
